About Flowproof
Flowproof shows whether AI search engines such as ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews can read, understand and cite your website, and what you can do if they can't.
What Flowproof does
More and more people ask an AI assistant instead of a search engine. That assistant names only a handful of sources. Flowproof checks more than 80 points that decide whether your website is one of them: whether AI crawlers have access, whether your information is unambiguous, whether your content comes across as trustworthy and whether visitors go on to become customers. Every finding comes with concrete advice.
Who is behind Flowproof
Flowproof was built by Jelle Brummans and is offered by Peelmedia. Jelle is part of the team at Tripel Media in Maasbree, the Netherlands, a marketing agency for strategy, branding and creative work.
How we work
- Our advice is based on public documentation from OpenAI, Google, Anthropic and Perplexity, among others, and on established standards such as robots.txt (RFC 9309) and schema.org. Our knowledge base links to those sources.
- We don't promise rankings or mentions. No tool can honestly promise that, because AI systems decide for themselves which sources they show. What we do is show exactly what you can improve.
- The scanner identifies itself as FlowproofScanner and only visits public pages. We only place analytics cookies if you give consent.
- We run our own checks on our own website. What we recommend, we do ourselves.
