    A request as OAI-SearchBot (ChatGPT's search bot) got status 403, while a regular browser does get access.

    Your firewall or CDN blocks AI bots, regardless of robots.txt. Turn off 'Block AI bots' in Cloudflare or add exceptions for the bots you want to allow.

    No llms.txt was found (status 404).

    llms.txt is a proposal from llmstxt.org. Its effect on visibility in AI answers is uncertain, so a missing file is a point of attention, not a blocker. If you want to create one:

What a GEO audit measures

A GEO audit measures whether AI search engines can use your website as a source. It starts with access: can a bot such as OAI-SearchBot or PerplexityBot fetch your pages? Next comes understanding: is your text right there in the HTML, and does schema markup say who you are and what you offer? Finally, trust counts: is it clear who writes the content, and can the facts be checked? How to approach that is covered in content that AI cites.

Flowproof turns those steps into checks a machine can run. Each check gets the status passed, needs attention or problem, or is for information only. Together they form a GEO score from 0 to 100, weighted by area. What the GEO audit deliberately does not do

Flowproof does not run JavaScript and does not click through your whole site. That is a choice: most AI crawlers don't either, so the scan sees your page the way they see it. The scan also doesn't measure how often you already appear in AI answers. That needs external data sources, and those integrations aren't available yet. What is a GEO audit?

A GEO audit checks whether AI search engines such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Google AI Overviews can reach, read and understand your website. Flowproof does this with more than 70 automated checks across 9 areas and gives advice for every finding.

Does Flowproof measure whether ChatGPT already mentions my website?

No. The scan measures whether your website is technically and editorially ready to be cited. Whether an AI assistant actually mentions you also depends on the question and on other sources. Integrations for AI citations and brand mentions are on the roadmap, but not yet available.

What is included in the free version?

With a free account you can scan 1 website 3 times a month. You see the overall score across all 9 areas and full advice on the 4 core areas: AI crawlers, technical GEO, schema markup and llms.txt. Pro and Business give advice on every area.

Which pages does Flowproof scan?

Each scan assesses the page you enter, usually your homepage. The scan also fetches robots.txt, llms.txt, llms-full.txt and your sitemap. To check a different page, enter that URL.

How often should I run a GEO audit?

After every major change to your site, and periodically as well: a CDN update or a new plugin can block AI bots without anyone noticing. In Pro and Business, Flowproof scans your websites automatically every week and emails you the results.
